GourmetNomNom is built around real visits, real food, real road miles and a permanent record of what happened along the way. The goal is discovery: find the places people can miss from the highway, tell the story honestly, and keep the road open to whatever chapter comes next.

The active chapter is the West Virginia Burger Tour. The route is documented through the Flavor Atlas, the published leaderboard, and the individual field record for each reviewed stop.

4,000+ miles driven is the public journey marker. It reflects the road work behind the Hunt rather than a decorative counter.

Scores reflect the actual visit and the complete experience at that time: the food itself, execution, flavor, value and the details that materially shaped the stop. The published score stays part of the record; if hindsight changes the assessment, the correction is attached rather than silently rewriting history.

The field record carries the details that matter beyond a number: what was ordered, what stood out, what missed, the price when known, the drive, and whether the stop ultimately felt worth making the trip.
